Did you miss Superstars this week? Well, here’s the rundown for you:
Shelton Benjamin vs. Zack Ryder (with Rosa Mendez)
WINNER: Zack Ryder via pin fall. Rosa Mendez got a phone call during the middle of the match and got in the ring to give it to him. Shelton Benjamin came flying into the corner almost hitting Rosa, but Ryder took advantage of the misstep and slammed the back of Benjamin’s head on the canvas for the 1-2-3!

Vickie Guerrero comes out, to the hatred of the fans, to introduce her boyfriend, Eric Escobar.

WINNER: Eric Escobar via pin fall after hitting a running boot. Guerrero and Escobar exchanged a smooch mid-ring after the match… BARF!!!

QUICK THOUGHTS:
The way Rosa got involved in the match between Ryder and Benjamin was one of the most random distractions I have ever seen! She plays an absolutely great air head!
I don’t mind the idea of Vickie Guerrero and Eric Escobar having a relationship, but do we really need to see that big fat cow make out with him on national television??? GROSS!!!
The main event wasn’t really great at all. Hell the opening contest had more things to watch than the main event did! Seriously, I think WWE should reconsider keeping Mark Henry on the roster. He’s just big and strong. He brings no value to the ring and he’s not entertaining at all!
does anyone remember ronnie echerson? he was us central states champion for years. nwa from late 60’s into early 70s?

November 22nd, 2009 at 6:03 pmi’m 48 and when i was a kid i used to go to macelroy auditorium in waterloo ia, with my grammpa, and watch the nwa boys come to town. he was ahuge wrestling fan from the old days and i got hooked on it with him. dory funk jr. was my favorite. guys like the viking, the stomper, handsome harley race, ronnie echerson, danny littlebear, natureboy kirby,etc….
