Still haven’t gotten HDNet yet in your area?  No worries.  That’s why I’m here.  To watch and bring you what happens!  Tonight on Ring of Honor:

Video Package:  Last week we said farewell to Bryan Danielson.

Kenny King (with Rhett Titus) vs. Brent Albright
WINNER: Kenny King via pin fall after Rhett Titus gave him a little assist.  After the match, ROH World Champion, Austin Aries came out to help beat up Albright.  Extra curricular activities were broken up by Colt Cabana.

Video Package: Young Bucks talk about getting an opportunity at the ROH Tag Team Titles.

D-Lo Brown vs. Sal Rinauro
WINNER: D-Lo Brown via pin fall after hitting a spine buster.  Mid match, D-Lo grabbed a phone from the time keeper and they claimed he was Tweeting.

Backstage: Kyle Durden is with Nigel McGuinness and he asks Nigel about if he’s leaving and how he’s feeling.  Nigel doesn’t respond and walks away.

Nigel McGuinness comes down to the ring to address the crowd.  He says that “he cannot sum up six years of his life in three minutes,” and says “thank you!”  Then he also wants to bring some one out to thank them for what they’ve done for him… Turns out to be him thanking himself!  They show him actually leaving the building and walking down the street.

Backstage: Kyle Durden is with the American Wolves.  He asks them about their match tonight against the Young Bucks.  They say, “The era of the wolves is here, and the hunt claims two more victims!”

The Super Smash Bros. vs. Brandon Day and John Kerman
WINNERS: The Super Smash Bros. via roll up pin fall on John Kerman.

Video Package: Jim Cornette talking about how in a couple weeks he will be live in the ROH arena and he will address what needs to be done to put ROH at the top, specifically how the law is going to be laid down when it comes to people like Austin Aries!

Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championship Match
Young Bucks vs. American Wolves (with Shane Hagadorn) (champions)
WINNERS: American Wolves via submission due to a single leg Boston Crab to retain the ROH World Tag Titles.

QUICK THOUGHTS:

If former NFL star, Deion Sanders was a professional wrestler, he’d be Kenny King!  King’s got the same confidence, the same swagger, and the same silly ass dance moves!

Sal Rinauro had some offense!!!  WOW!!!  He’s ROH’s version of The Brooklyn Brawler!  I love the homage to old generation!

Nigel McGuinness is officially gone from ROH!  Well so far Nigel McGuinness has made quite an “Impact” at his new place of employment!

Can’t wait till Jim Cornette finally appears on ROH on HDNet.  This guy knows wrestling and he’s going to bring ROH to the next level.

The main event was one of the best tag team matches you’re going to see on TV.  The Bucks and the Wolves are two of the best teams in the business right now and the only reason why they’re not in one of the other two major feds is because they do not think tag team wrestling is worthy of airtime or good story lines.  I’m here to say that this match is the gold standard of what a tag team division should look like!  Action, technical ability, high risk, and wrestlers that can actually talk on the mic!
