It’s Thursday night, and that means Superstars is on WGN-America!  Here’s what happened:

Legacy (Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase) vs. Primo & Evan Bourne
WINNERS: Rhodes & DiBiase via pin fall after Cody Rhodes hit Cross Rhodes on Primo.

The Hurricane vs. Zack Ryder with Rosa Mendes
WINNER: The Hurricane via DQ.  The Hurricane had the match well in hand until a masked man came into the ring and attacked him, hitting a Brain Buster.

Matt Hardy vs. Dolph Ziggler
WINNER: Dolph Ziggler via backslide pin fall after he countered the Twist of Fate.

QUICK THOUGHTS:

You have to love the fact that the announcers bring home the fact that a team has never tagged together before, but not when they’ve been jobbers as of late!  With Primo and Evan Bourne being on the losing end of their matches lately, to say that they’re at a disadvantage because they haven’t been a team is basically giving them the kiss of death.  We as fans know they’ve been jobbers, and could figure out that they’re probably going to job again in the tag match, but you don’t have to point it out multiple times in the contest.

I’ll give you one guess as to who I think the masked man that attacked The Hurricane was… I’ll give you a hint.  He used to be a pirate!

Ziggler against Hardy was a decent match.  I’m hoping that the internet rumors are NOT true and that WWE is going to continue to pus Ziggler for the Intercontinental Title.  He’s got so much talent that he should not be ignored.
