TNA’s Final Resolution is in the books and what a PPV it was!  They crowned one new champion, gave out three more title shots, and unfortunately for one TNA superstar, they got fired!  Here’s the results from last night:

British Invasion defeated Motor City Machine Guns to retain the TNA Tag Team Titles

Tara defeated ODB to become the NEW TNA Knockouts Champion

In the Feast or Fired match, 3 title shots were earned:

• Samoa Joe earned a World Title shot
• Kevin Nash earned a Tag Team Title shot
• Big Rob earned an X-Division Title shot
• Sheik Abdul Bashir got FIRED!

Matt Morgan was the sole man standing in the 8-man Elimination Match

Bobby Lashley defeated Scott Steiner in a Last Man Standing Match

“The Monster” Abyss & Mick Foley defeated Raven & Dr. Stevie in Foley’s Fun House Rules Match (Hardcore)

Kurt Angle defeated Desmond Wolfe in the 3 Degrees of Pain Match winning the submission and cage escape falls

AJ Styles defeated Daniels to retain the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

QUICK THOUGHTS:

I didn’t get to see all of the PPV, so I would like to apologize for the very minimal rundown of the results.  What I did see was fantastic!

I love me a good hardcore match, and to see Abyss and Foley go crazy as a tag team was fun to watch.  It’s great to see Foley fly through the air and land on top of someone, especially when the guy he’s landing on has barbed wire wrapped around him.  Hehehehe!

Angle and Wolfe again put on a clinic.  Technically sound.  Even Taz & Mike Tenay even made comments to the extent that it was like watching an MMA match seeing the types of submissions they were using.  This match even got the crowd going where they chanted, “THIS IS WRESTLING!”  I definitely agree!

Main event was good as well.  Daniels went for a top rope hurricanrana and AJ countered into a middle rope Styles Clash to get the victory!  Was hoping to see a Samoa Joe run in to cash in his Feast or Fired case, but it didn’t happen… shucks!
