Here’s the recap of what went down on WWE Superstars on WGN America for 1/7/10:

1st Round Match – Diva’s Championship Tournament
Jillian Hall vs. Gail Kim
WINNER: Gail Kim via counter roll up pin fall

Ted DiBiase vs. Chris Masters with Eve Torres
WINNER: Ted DiBiase via pin fall after hitting Dream Street

Yoshi Tatsu with Goldust vs. Caylen Croft with Trent Barreta
WINNER: Yoshi Tatsu via pin fall after hitting a kick to Croft’s head

Finlay vs. Mike Knox
WINNER: Finlay via pin fall after he hit Knox with his shillelagh while the ref’s back was turned

Chris Masters has new music, and it sounds like something that Tool would play… AWESOME!!!  I’m wondering if this means that Masters is going to get an actual storyline and a push?  Have a listen to the new theme:

I still cannot tell Croft & Barreta apart!  It’s not like they’re twins or anything, it’s just this was the first time they’ve actually acknowledged who was who.  The match between Croft and Tatsu was pretty exciting, but I wish they would give Tatsu a better finishing move.  Maybe some sort of Dragon Kick off the top rope or something you would’ve seen RVD do?

Same crap when it comes to Finlay getting a win… shillelagh to someone’s dome leads to the pin fall victory.  Why that was the main event, I will never know.
