Getting Booked Isn’t Always A Good Thing!

Another day, another incident for Chris Jericho, but this time he had a side kick, Gregory Helms (aka The Hurricane), with him who acted like a super villain rather than a super hero.  TMZ reported that there was a scuffle in a cab, and  Helms “assaulted” three people, one being a woman.  Both men were booked for public intoxication.  They were eventually released on bond, but not before the mug shots came out, LOL!  Thank you TMZ!

There’s also word going around now that Matt Hardy was with them, but wasn’t to be found when the cops arrived on the scene as he walked away from the area.  It’s predicted that he will NOT be charged with anything.

Okay, this is one reason why I don’t like hanging around people who are drunk off their asses.  Drunk people do stupid shit, it’s a proven fact.  This is one of the first times I’ve heard the Hurricane’s name involved in an incident like this.  Most of the time when Jericho’s name comes up in the news that’s non-wrestling related it’s because he’s done something dumb, and he’s proven that he doesn’t need alcohol to do it either.

I guess if I had to look on the bright side of this whole situation, they WERE in a cab and they didn’t get behind the wheel of a car themselves.  At least they had enough awareness to not drink and drive.  I’m just glad that no one ended up seriously injured or dead!
