Wrestling Weekend Update

So since my last news update there are some more headlines to bring up:

*** WWE Releases More From The Roster ***

WWE has now released two more from their roster:

Charlie Haas
Referee, Scott Armstrong

It’s a shame that Haas hasn’t been getting used much as of late.  He’s got great talent in the ring.  Last I saw him, they paired him up with Mike Knox and they jobbed out in a tag team match.

Scott Armstrong is a shocker to me.  WWE has a bunch of referees, but I think that Armstrong was one of the better ones (IMO).  It’s a shame to let someone like him go.  I’m sure he’ll end up with TNA.

*** The Honky Tonk Man suing TNA/Bubba The Love Sponge ***

After the recent story of Awesome Kong going after BTLS for a prank phone call that was broadcast on his radio show.  WWE Legend, The Honky Tonk Man is threatening to file suit against both TNA and Bubba for slanderous comments on the BLTS radio show that caused Honky to possibly lose some of his indy bookings.

*** Rumored Last RAW Guest Host ***

There’s a rumor going around that WWE will finally do away with the Monday Night RAW, celebrity guest host (THANK GOD!).  The rumored name for the final host is none other than Stone Cold Steve Austin.  Nothing is set yet, but it’s looking like the last day could be March 15th.

*** TNA and Marvel Working Together ***

Over the course of the last month or so, videos have been brought to my attention where TNA superstars like AJ Styles, Daniels & Desmond Wolfe have appeared giving their comments on their favorite comic books and characters.  One video that came up was a cartoon goofing on the Olympics featuring the aforementioned superstars lending their voices for the cause.  Enjoy:
