PWMania.com is reporting that the WWE has penciled in CM Punk vs. Triple at Wrestlemania 30 in just a few months. This has been a rumored match for sometime, but now it’s locked in for this year’s big event.

For what it’s worth, it’s said that Triple H vs. CM Punk for WrestleMania XXX is a lock. Plans are to do another “Summer of Punk” style program, possibly leading to Punk vs. Batista at SummerSlam.

WWE teased fans a few weeks before Christmas on Monday Night Raw when all hell broke lose with Randy Orton and John Cena brawling that created chaos allowing Triple H to encounter CM Punk in one of the best brawls in recent WWE history and best endings to Raw in some time involving some 15+ superstars who were in the ring.

As for a Summer of Punk, WWE couldn’t go wrong with that really. Punk is the hottest star in the company outside of Daniel Bryan and both have a huge fan following. Putting Punk against Batista has potential, but it is a match we’ve seen before.

With Punk vs. Triple H on tap, WrestleMania is surely shaping up to be a big event and one of the best Mania’s we’ve had in some years.
