At the end of Monday’s Raw, Daniel Bryan broke away from The Wyatt Family.
In the opening segment, Bryan teamed with Bray Wyatt against The Usos in a standard tag team match, but Luke Harper and Erick Rowan got involved and caused a disqualification. This prompted Kane and Brad Maddox to schedule a main event rematch inside a steel cage, the door would be chained shut so Wyatt’s two henchmen couldn’t get in.
In the main event, the four men put on an incredible match, but both Usos escaped the cage for the victory, leaving Bryan and Wyatt alone in the cage. Bryan, as he has done a few times already, bowed down to Wyatt, and got in position to let him hit the Sister Abigail. This time, however, Bryan countered the move, and the two men stared each other down. Wyatt then got on his knees and told Bryan to hit him with the running knee, but Bryan didn’t, prompting Wyatt to call him a coward. Bryan then let loose on Wyatt, as the crowd exploded at the return of their hero. Bryan then removed his Wyatt coveralls and reveled his old ring gear underneath. Wyatt’s two henchmen tried to get in, but failed as Bryan took down Wyatt. Bryan then climbed to the top of the cage to lead the audience in the “YES” chant as Raw went off the air.
It’s about time, this angle should have never happened and I’m glad WWE is backing out. Bryan is white-hot, and there is nothing anybody can do to stop it. I firmly believe that Bryan is on his way to winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXX.
