The Ultimate Warrior Announced As First WWE Hall of Fame Inductee for Class of 2014

On Monday’s Raw, the WWE announced that The Ultimate Warrior would be the first inductee in the Class of 2014 for the Hall of Fame.

The Ultimate Warrior and WWE have not been on good terms since he left, with WWE even releasing a DVD about his fall from grace, a couple of years ago.

Many thought that they were beginning to mend that when Warrior was a part of the most recent video game, but those rumors were quickly dispelled. However, in recent weeks, rumors began circulating that Vince McMahon was meeting with Warrior about a possible Hall of Fame induction and appearance at WrestleMania XXX.

Now, it appears those rumors have been confirmed. We are still awaiting Warrior’s first appearance on Raw, as the news tonight was announced with a video package, but expect for WWE to hold off on that until the Hall of Fame and WrestleMania in order to maximize interest.

Warrior was a part of one of the first main events in WrestleMania history, at WrestleMania XI, and he was a big star in his day. His induction is much deserved.
