Our “mother” website, FanSided.com, is reporting through an additional source that the WWE has reached a verbal agreement with Hulk Hogan for an appearance at WrestleMania 30.
According to WrestleZone.com, Hulk Hogan and WWE have reached a verbal agreement this past week that will see the legend make an appearance at WrestleMania 30 in New Orleans.
Since Hogan’s departure from IMPACT Wrestling a few months ago, rumors have been swirling about a possible return to the company at some point, and now it seems it’s come to fruition.
It has been no secret that Vince McMahon has wanted Hogan to play in some role at this year’s 30th edition of WrestleMania, and not it seems the boss’ wish has been granted.
After Hogan’s departure from TNA, rumors of his WWE return have consistent and never died down.
Because of poor health, it’s unlikely that Hogan will wrestle in a match but it is possible that he will play a role in a match. Rumors have Hogan teaming with John Cena in some compacity while others have him joining Mr. T, Rowdy Roddy Piper, and Paul Orndoff in the WWE Hall of Fame. The WWE is in love with the idea of the first ever WrestleMania match being inducted into the Hall of Fame this year.
