It’s been reported all over the internet that Daniel Bryan will not be in this year’s Royal Rumble match. It’s a rather convincing report to tell you the truth, but I’m not buying it…just yet.
I believe Daniel Bryan is still a player in the Royal Rumble match this year. WWE is known for wanting to surprise people each year at the Royal Rumble and Daniel Bryan just very well may be one of those surprises.
There are so many ways the WWE creative team can not only take the WWE World Heavyweight title picture, but there are so many ways they can take Daniel Bryan creatively. It is no secret that after screwing Bryan, the WWE is facing tough criticism from the WWE Universe to put Bryan back into the title picture and soon.
Vince McMahon tried to turn Bryan as a heel a few weeks ago when he joined the Wyatt family, but just like screwing him out of the World Heavyweight Championship, that backfired on the WWE.
The famous Yes! chants become so popular that fans were chanting it during college basketball games across the nation. Bryan’s popularity has been soaring to new heights each week and it doesn’t appear to be leveling off anytime soon. Now is the best chance to give Bryan the spotlight he is long overdue.
WWE should use the Royal Rumble as a stepping stone to getting Bryan back into the title picture rather than trying to kill the momentum of the hottest star in the company. Granted, while they tried to kill Dolph Ziggler’s push, the fans still go nuts over Ziggler.
