Bray Wyatt picks up the surprisingly clean victory over Daniel Bryan.
Bryan got Erick Rowan and Luke Harper involved early, by doing a suicide dive to the outside. The referee ended up throwing them out.
Bryan controlled this match early, dominated it. He got in the “YES” kicks, and again in the corner. Eventually, Wyatt took control and used his slow methodical style. Wyatt also worked in his crab walk, which is the creepiest thing any wrestler is doing today.
Bryan got in his comeback, the crowd was so into it.
The fact that this victory came clean comes as a real shock. It would have been one thing to see Wyatt get a victory by cheating, but unless Bryan ends up winning the Rumble, it seems that the WWE is still looking to bury him despite his huge pops with the crowd.
This is a big victory for Wyatt, though. It will certainly propel him into the upper-echelon of WWE Superstars, even with all the times he doesn’t get in the ring and sits while Harper and Rowan do his dirty work, he still feels just as, if not more important.
Winner: Bray Wyatt
