PWInsider is reporting that The Undertaker will be returning to Monday Night Raw on February 24th, the night of the WWE Network launch.
The Undertaker would be returning to WWE TV for the first time since last April, when he was triple powerbombed through the announce table on SmackDown by The Shield.
The Undertaker’s annual return is always a highly-anticipated part of the Road to WrestleMania. His streak grows in aura with every year and every victory, and fans are always chomping at the bit to see who he will take on next.
Rumors point to him taking on Brock Lesnar, who isn’t advertised to appear on any shows until that very same episode of Raw. Many people question if these two are a good match at this point in their careers.
Lesnar is very physical, which is one of the best things he can bring to a WWE ring, but it might be too much for the aging Undertaker.
He is coming back soon, and if the Lesnar rumors are true, it would be The Undertaker’s second straight year feuding with a Superstar managed by Paul Heyman. Heyman is going to have to get much more involved this year, because The Undertaker just can’t handle brawling with Lesnar as much as Triple H did leading to their WrestleMania match last year.
If anybody could do it, it would be Heyman. Heyman is one of the greatest wrestling managers of all time, right up there with The Undertaker’s former manager, the late Paul Bearer.
This could be a very good feud, but we all must wonder, how will The Undertaker come out on the other side?
