The main event for the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, is going to be the Elimination Chamber match itself, which will be contested for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
The personnel in this match strikes me as interesting, Randy Orton, John Cena, Sheamus and Daniel Bryan are all main event stars. Christian has been capable of main eventing in his career, but few would ever think of him as a main event star, which is why some people still think he might be replaced before this match starts. The other man in the match is Cesaro. Cesaro’s involvement is more proof that WWE is ready to give him a big push.
There are only two people in this match that can truly be counted out, Christian and Cena. Christian’s still being talked about as being replaced, so that doesn’t say much for his odds of winning. Cena is likely to be removed from this match by an interfering Wyatt Family, in order to set up his feud with Bray Wyatt going into WrestleMania.
As for the other four men, while Orton and Bryan are heavy favorites, there’s no reason why Sheamus or Cesaro can’t win.
However, when it all ends, Sunday night will end with Orton holding both titles above his head with Corporate Kane standing over a fallen Bryan. I believe Bryan will be in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match at WrestleMania, but he will not go in with the title. This certainly feels like Orton’s match to lose.
