Sami Zayn vs. Cesaro
On the pre-show, NXT GM JBL announced that Zayn and Cesaro’s highly anticipated match would open the show. The only thing that made this seem like a bad choice was the obvious fact that these two were going to have the match of the night, and they did.
This match was better than all the matches they have had before, including the 2-out-of-3 falls edition. This match was better than the match that Cesaro had with John Cena a few weeks ago on Raw. This match might have been better than The Shield vs. The Wyatts at Elimination Chamber. To put it simply, this match was unbelievable.
If WWE was unsure about Zayn being called up to the main roster, they shouldn’t be any more. The same goes for Cesaro’s recent push towards being a main eventer.
