Report: CM Punk Was Supposed To Be In The Main Event Of WrestleMania 30

– The more the days go by the more we learn about CM Punk. As noted he was never scripted into last Monday’s RAW which was in Chicago due to him appearing before the show. There was some talk in the back early in the day that he might come out and do a retirement speech or a farewell speech on TV. According to PWInsider.

Well that did not happen, we have learned that prior to him walking out of WWE, he was scheduled to be in a fatal four way match at WrestleMania 30 for the WWE world heavyweight championship with Daniel Bryan, Batista and Randy Orton as the main event of the show.

With him walking out of the company they changed plans obviously and we now have also learned that they might still add Daniel Bryan to the match between Orton and Batista.

Andrews Take: CM Punk had his reasons for walking out and if he felt that strong about those then fine. But knowing that he was going to be in the main event of WrestleMania and he still walks out shines light on who he is. Now we do not know all the facts and he could have been right. If he is great, if not then he handled it bad.

– WWE will be releasing a new DVD in April (22nd) and it will be called WWE’s “The Best of RAW: After the Show”. Basically it is about what happened after the show went off the air.
