TNA lockdown Backstage News & Notes, Impact Tapings

– Here are some backstage news and notes from TNA lockdown reported from F4Wonline:

Tommy Dreamer was a Lockdown PPV serving as an agent. He was rumored to face EC3 on the PPV, but those plans were changed and Bobby Lashley stepped in. This was his return to TNA. He has not been in TNA since 2010 when he left.

Speaking of Lashley, sources say that his return was kept quiet and only a few people knew he was showing up. At this time he is not under contract, but in TNA’s future plans.

Andrews Take: MVP is also not under contract with TNA yet he is the major player in TNA right now. Not smart on the part of TNA. However Lashley got a good reaction and should be a nice addition to the roster.

Abyss was said to be under the ring for hours to do the spot where he came through the ring and cost Samoa Joe the match against Magnus for the world heavyweight championship.

Andrews Take: Totally not a fan of the angle. Give it up to Abyss for lying under the ring for hours, but still it left a bad taste in your mouth and that’s what I took away from the PPV the mostly.

– TNA will be taping Impact! This week (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) in Orlando, Florida.

– Tiger UNO, Willow and x, division champion Seya Sanada have been added to the roster page at Impact
