WWE Raw Rating, The Shield Shines On Smackdown Over The Wyatts

– As noted, Carlos Colon will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2014. It was announced last night at the WWE Smackdown tapings. His sons who are Primo and Carlito. Also, his nephew Epico.

Here are the inductee’s and people to induct them:

  • The Ultimate Warrior to be inducted by Linda McMahon
  • Jake Roberts to be inducted by Diamond Dallas Page
  • Lita
  • Paul Bearer
  • Carlos Colon to be inducted by Carlito, Primo and Epico

Andrews Take: This is shaping up to be a really good class of Hall of Famers. Lita and the late, great, Paul Bearer have yet to announce who will induct them. I would have to say Trish Stratus to induct Lita and the Undertaker to induct Paul Bearer.

– Monday’s WWE RAW did a 3.09 rating. That is the second lowest rating of 2014 for Raw. The show averaged 4.368 million viewers which is down from last week. Both numbers are down, which is a surprise with the Undertaker and Hulk Hogan appearing.

Andrews Take: With two big names advertised in a week’s worth of time and honestly a pretty good show. This rating is a bit of a concern. As the “Franchise” Shane Douglas says, “Wrestling is down and people want change”. Expect WWE officials to go beyond the call of duty next week on Raw.

– WWE will return to Little Rock, Arkansas on September 23rd for a SmackDown taping.

– Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns defeat Luke Harper and Erick Rowan when Reigns speared Harper to win the match in the dark main event after last night’s WWE SmackDown TV tapings in Little Rock, Arkansas.
