WrestleMania XXX Preview: Pre-Show: WWE Tag Team Title Fatal 4-Way Match: The Usos (C) vs. The Real Americans vs. Rybaxel vs. Los Matadores

There is no more exciting time to be a wrestling fan than when WrestleMania comes around. This year’s card has 7 matches scheduled for the main card, as well as a Pre-Show match. Three of Daily DDT’s finest, Andrew Ravens, Stephen Ajamie, and myself, Mike Smith, are here to break it all down for you.

We start with the WWE Tag Team Title Match, where The Usos will put their titles on the line on the WrestleMania Pre-Show, before the big event on April 6th.

Following a beat down of The Shield on SmackDown two weeks ago, Kane granted The Real Americans and Rybaxel a tag title shot, and they’re getting it here. As for Los Matadores, they snuck into this one with a Raw win over Rybaxel two weeks ago (cue Zeb Colter “sneak across our borders” joke).

Andrew’s Take: Personally, I think maybe this ought to have been on the main show, with the battle royal being on the Pre-Show. However, I understand why, but I don’t appreciate it. However, I do not understand why Los Matadores and Rybaxel are in a tag team title match at WrestleMania XXX; yeah, I don’t agree. You have the Rhodes Brothers, who are former tag team champions, not in this match. Also, you have The Wyatt Family, with Luke Harper and Eric Rowan that are not even in a match. I think The Usos retain as they have no real competition in the tag division.

Andrew’s Prediction: The Usos Retain

Stephen’s Take: Los Matadores and Rybaxel aren’t winning this match, so it comes down to either The Usos retaining or somehow The Real Americans take the titles. Just like The Shield not breaking up, I’m surprised we haven’t seen the split of Cesaro and Swagger. Cesaro just looks primed for a great singles run, but hey, if they want to give him the tag titles for a short run with Swagger, go for it. I do believe ultimately The Usos will retain as they just won the tag team titles a short while ago, and they are guys that have been together enough to get a good run themselves with the titles.

Stephen’s Prediction: Usos to retain their titles

Mike’s Take: Andrew and Stephen both hit the nail on the head, as far as Rybaxel and Los Matadoes go. The titles aren’t going to either one of those teams, so the only real contenders are The Real Americans. I just don’t see The Real Americans winning though, they aren’t going to last as a team much longer. There will be no better time for Cesaro to split from Swagger and take off as a singles star, than in the aftermath of WrestleMania. It’s also not time for The Usos to lose the titles. They have been the most exciting part of the tag division since Team Hell No, not counting The Shield because they are a three-man team, and they have yet to truly make the most of their title run.

Mike’s Prediction: The Usos retain the titles
