WWE runs house shows AKA live events overseas a couple of times a year and then on the weekends they run the events in the United States. Usually the same matches take place with the same finishes.
WWE Superstars will do matches for an upcoming match on pay-per-view as part of practicing the match and getting it done right. Well WWE has plans in place for WWE to stream their international live events on the WWE Network.
This means WWE will broadcast house shows when the company heads overseas for tours. Now this does not WWE will air the live events in the United States. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
There is no time table when this will start, but WWE goes on an overseas tour starting on April 17th and ending on April 21st. WWE will go over to Saudi Arabia for a few live events.
Andrews Take: I like the idea of airing shows on the WWE Network while overseas. However, for house shows I am not interested. If they want to hold a PPV or a TV taping over there and it’s just for the live audience and only for WWE Network subscribers then that is fine with me.
