- Yes fans you might want to be worried. However, you should have expected it. Once the WWE Network subscriber numbers came out on yesterday morning, there were people within WWE who were surprised and took it as a bad good sign. Of course WWE wants as many subscribers as they can and many fine folks in the company were expecting over 1 million subscribers. So with that being said, there’s talk that we may see a price jump to $11.99 or $12.99 per month next year. Most likely starting with WrestleMania 31 which is in March. Source: F4WOnline.
Andrews Take: Of course you had to expect this, at the price it is now, WWE is almost giving it away if you really think about it. I think in the long run, not having those solid PPV numbers will be the reason the Network price will be increased and that is not good for the WWE Universe. That includes ME! Do not expect a raise in price until next year so no worries for the time being.
- WWF Raw went down on this day back in 1996 from Orange Pavilion in San Bernardino, California. The main event saw WWF Champion Shawn Michaels defeat Jerry Lawler to retain the title.
