– As we have been reporting for some time now, WCW Legend and former TNA champion, Sting has reportedly signed a deal with WWE.
There’s no word yet on details regarding what role he will play, but he is scheduled to be on TV, but not right away. Of course original rumors had him set for a match at WrestleMania 31 with the Undertaker as that is the fantasy dream match for quite a few wrestling fans. With the streak coming to a close as seen last Sunday night with Brock Lesnar ending it in front of 70,000 people. His matchup is unknown at this time. Also the match with Taker is now up in the air with Taker’s future now in question.
As far as the deal goes, it includes Sting being on television, but whether that’s as a regular character or just to build for one match at next year’s WrestleMania, that isn’t clear. The idea was for WWE to bring him to do one match, but who knows now with Taker’s status unknown. He obviously won’t be a full-time wrestler due to his age.
– Evan Bourne has been cleared to wrestle for a while now. No word yet on why WWE hasn’t brought him back.
