TNA Impact Viewership Is In - Not Good

- TNA Impact saw Eric Young defend his title for the first time in the main event against Abyss in a Monsters Ball match. Well EY being champion did not do them any favors as they did not even crack the top 100 in the adults 18-49 demographic due to its low rating. For TNA and the future of the show, that is not good at all. They had had 1,010,000 viewers, down from last week’s 1,415,000 viewers. This is the lowest audience for the show since March 20, when it had 997,000 viewers.

– 1986: The Road Warriors defeated Ronnie Garvin & Magnum in the finals to win the inaugural Jim Crockett Sr Memorial Tag Team Tournament.

1992: WWE held the UK Rampage event at Sheffield Arena, in Sheffield, England back on this day. The main event was The British Bulldog defeated Irwin R. Schyster.

1998: WCW Spring Stampede was held at the Denver Coliseum, in Denver, Colorado. There was 7,428 in attendance to see Randy Savage defeated Sting in a No-DQ Match to win the WCW World Title.

1999: WWF Raw beat WCW Nitro in the Monday night wars with a 6.1 to 4.1 in the ratings.

1999: Psychosis defeated Rey Misterio Jr to win the WCW Cruiserweight Title on Nitro.

2004: Chris Benoit & Edge defeated Ric Flair & Batista to win the World Tag Team Titles on Raw.

2009: TNA Lockdown was held at the Liacouras Center, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with 4,500 in attendance to see Mick Foley defeated Sting to win the TNA World Title in the main event.

2010: WWE Raw beat TNA Impact for the second week in a row back on this day. Raw won with a 3.1 to 0.95 rating.

2010: Rob Van Dam defeated AJ Styles to win the TNA World Title on Impact!

2011: Kane & The Big Show defeated Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel to win the WWE Tag Team Titles on Smackdown.
