Goldberg Talks To Triple H About WWE Return

Goldberg recently spoke with PWinsider Elite about coming back to WWE. He stated that he spoke with Paul “Triple H” Leveque about coming back and wrestling one more time, however, according to Goldberg the phone calls were general conversations, and none of them specifically mentioned that potential match.

When asked if he would come back to WWE?

“Would I love to do it again and have my son and my wife, who has never seen me wrestle? Abso-damn-lutely. Would I jeopardize what I’ve done in the wrestling world just to make that happen? No. So if I wasn’t ready to do it, physically ready to do it, and it wasn’t the right situation, I wouldn’t do it just to do it. If that was the case, I’d probably be at WrestleMania this year. It just has to be right and if it’s not right, then I’m retired, for good.”

Goldberg is a former WCW and WWE World Heavyweight Champion, he was thrown into the mix when he came into WWE back in 2003, however it was over ten years ago. He is 47 and has not wrestled in ten years. This idea that he is coming back for one more match is ridiculous. Would i like to see him come back to WWE, absolutely? But it’s so unrealistic that he would return to WWE that people need to get that idea out of their heads.
