Possible Replacement For MVP At TNA Slammiversary

As noted, TNA executive John Gaburick announced via Twitter that MVP is out of Sunday’s Slammiversary main event. He also noted that a replacement would be announced later today.

So with that being said, who is going to be the opponent for Eric Young come Sunday? I predicted in our earlier article that it could be Bobby Lashley as his opponent. He did beat EY on Impact then that could be a possible replacement for him. Time will tell if that is the way they go.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there were rumblings within TNA if MVP could not go then they would have Bobby Lashley face EY at Slammieversary. That is a reason Lashley beat EY clean on Impact.

Of course, a fair replacement main event for #Slammiversary will be announced later today.

As far as MVP goes, he will stay on TV as a TV heel through October at the latest. If he does not have surgery, then they can have the match in October at Bound For Glory. A lot of things are up in the air over at TNA, what else is new?
