TNA crowned a new TNA World Heavyweight Champion tonight live on Spike TV and his name is Bobby Lashley.

Eric Young defeated Kenny King earlier in the night to retain the championship, but MVP says that they are gonna have some fun now, he says that EY has a second title match tonight and it’s against Bobby Lashley, there will be no other wrestlers in the arena.

This is big time news for TNA and here is the play-by-play for the match that I did:

World Title Match: Eric Young © Vs. Bobby Lashley

Back and forth, Lashley is sent to the floor and EY takes him out with a dive. Back in the ring, EY is caught as he goes for a crossbody, but EY slides through and rolls him up for a near fall. Lashley with a back body drop and then sends him to the floor.

We’re back, Lashley hits a big power slam. Lashley has shifted his focus to the back of EY. Lashley misses a clothesline and EY lands a few right hands. He nails a clothesline, then a drop kick and goes to the top rope. EY hit a Crossbody for a near fall. Lashley misses a splash, but lands a back kick. Lashley sends EY into the corner and goes for the dominator, but blocked. EY hits the piledriver for the 1,2, but is pulled out of the ring by King. Lashley accidentally hits King off the apron, EY hits the big DDT and goes to the top rope, he misses the elbow. Lashley hits the spear for the win.

Winner & New TNA World Champion: Bobby Lashley

Lashley and crew celebrate in the ring, the put EY’s arm in a chair and kick it, they are trying to break his arm. All of a sudden, Bobby Roode comes out and makes the save. He stands tall in the ring to end the show.
