Wednesday TNA News: Bound For Glory Major Change, Hardy Boyz Back! & Much More

In one could be the biggest news of the day, TNA announced that they would hold the biggest event of the year, Bound For Glory in Japan. I would seriously disagree with this.

TNA’s Dixie Carter and Wrestle-1’s The Great Muta announced at their press conference in New York City today that the show will be held on Sunday, October 12th in Tokyo, Japan at Korakuen Hall

I hate this idea, you have never been to Japan for one of your shows, only for Wrestle 1. Keep it in the states and if you were to take it anywhere outside of the states, UK is the place to be. Strongly disagree with this idea. – Here are some news and notes coming out of TNA Impact TV tapings tonight from New York.

* Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy will face TNA Tag Team Champions The Wolves for the titles at the Destination X.

* Current X Division Champion vs. The Current World Champion will be the main event of Destination X.

* Take this a rumor for now, but former WWE announcer Josh Matthews is at tonight’s TNA Impact Wrestling taping in New York City. As noted earlier on the site, His profile has already been removed from WWE.com, but the company has not said anything about it or put out a press release about him leaving.

His profile is now in the alumni section of the website (WWE.com)

Mathews has been with the company for a very long time. Starting out on Tough Enough and he did not have what it took to be a wrestler, but was an announcer for the company for some time.
