Jerry Lawler Gives His Take On The WWE Network & Bringing History To It

WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler spoke with Rodolfo Roman about meeting with WWE officials about bringing Memphis Wrestling to the Network and here is what he had to say:

“We’re in negotiations. They’re sending a crew down next week to Memphis to evaluate the tapes, see what they want and what is still useable. We produced a 90 minute wrestling show every Saturday morning live for 21 straight years so there’s a lot of footage, a lot of tape out there. “

“Hopefully one of these days we will have it on the WWE Network. So many of the stars you’ve seen in WWE over the years either started or came through Memphis Wrestling at one point.”

This would be a good bonus to the Network, I am not sure how much wrestling fans are dying to see it, but it would be a different content on the Network.

The fans want more and more content, it would be somewhat cheap and something the fans want. It seems like a no brainer to me. Time will tell if they add the content or not.
