WWE confirmed Monday morning what had been speculated for several months, New Japan Wrestling star Prince Devitt is officially a member of WWE.
Devitt is reporting to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando today.

If you’ve never seen Devitt, he certainly fits into the mold of a Seth Rollins type performer. He is a versatile performer that is both technically sound, with the ability to take to the air for high-flying maneuvers. Here is a look at some of his work in Japan.
Devitt’s signing is the second major international wrestling star that WWE has signed. On July 12th KENTA signed his WWE contract at a WWE live event in Osaka, Japan. Both KENTA and Devitt will begin their WWE career’s in NXT.
WWE seems to be making a push to bring in veteran talent to round out their developmental system Rumors have also been swirling that Ring of Honor star Kevin Steen is close to joining NXT as well. The depth of the NXT roster is growing with the addition of these international stars.
Devitt is a three-time former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion and one of the most exciting superstars on the international scene. WWE fans should be excited that Triple H and the talent relations team is committed to bringing in all kinds of athletes, including name brand international wrestling talent to WWE.
