The WWE Morning Paper: Daniel Bryan, Evan Bourne, Vince Russo

So you’re getting ready for school or work in the morning and want to read up on fresh content before leaving for the day? Come read The WWE Morning Paper! This will be your weekday (possibly future weekends as well) hub for the latest news inside and outside the squared circle for Vince McMahon’s company as well as TNA sprinkled in (unless they get cancelled).

Here’s the wrestling information you need to know for August 3rd, 2014 version of The WWE Morning Paper.

  • Looks like Evan Bourne is back on the independent circuit.
  • Vince Russo decided to speak again and doesn’t plan on stopping.

Vince Russo posted his Impact review on the VIP section of his website, Pyro & Ballyhoo. During the podcast, Russo admitted to being a consultant for TNA since October 24, 2013. He said that he reviewed their shows and was given additional responsibilities, including producing commentary. He said that he will explain the situation more over time.

  • With the news that Daniel Bryan will need another surgery, people think he “could” return at the 2015 Royal Rumble.

F4WOnline is now reporting that Daniel Bryan’s return may come at the 2015 “Royal Rumble” pay-per-view. While nothing else is noted about Bryan’s potential return, it would presumably come in the traditional Royal Rumble match at the event. In the match, many WWE stars have made their triumphant returns from injury. Upon Bryan’s return, one will have to be on the lookout for WWE making mention of Bryan thwarting the robbery, as reports note that WWE may turn it into a storyline.

According to, WWE is considering taking this real-life incident and turning it into a storyline.

  • Shalaj Lawania of Bleacher Report posted a very interesting debate on wrestling departures.

I write this with the expectation of receiving buckets of hate. In this day and age, fans have many demands that mean little once quenched, for more are born within the same period. It’s an ever-expanding, ever-evolving wish list, one that leaves no one truly satisfied and everyone complaining.

  • Hulk Hogan gave his thoughts on Sting and John Cena.
