Brock Lesnar and John Cena: Missing in Action

I’m probably one of the few people that is okay with John Cena and Brock Lesnar not meeting in the ring over the past few weeks to build up their match.  Each guy has been there at some point, and said their piece.  Or in Brock’s case, Paul Heyman stated his cased.  The video package last night I thought was a great way to build up this feud as well.

Let’s face it, we know what we’re getting already with this match.  Is there anything more that either guy could do to make you want it even more?  I would say that you’re in or you’re not by now.  Even next week, I would imagine we’ll get some interaction, but you’ve already decided where you stand on buying Summerslam, and what you think of this match.

Where do I stand? I’m all in for Brock Lesnar to win and take the title, and however the WWE makes that work over the next months till Wrestlemania.  That’s how long I think Lesnar should hold the title.

There will be opportunities for him to defend it along the way, but for me, it’s that unknown of when will he show up that I think is kind of exciting about all of this.

You can look ahead and see possibilities for Lesnar as far as defending the title. I would imagine it’s John Cena again at Night Of Champions. I would look for Batista to come back at some point, which I think would be a very interesting dynamic for Lesnar.  Two brawling types just going at it.

Whether that’s the best option, I can’t say for sure, but I know that would be an interesting option when you consider both guys came around the same time, but I don’t recall if they ever faced off in the ring beyond some OVW appearance.  That could be one of those hasn’t happened yet matches that could be fun to watch.

I believe there’s the plan for Roman Reigns to step in at Mania and face Lesnar there on the grandest of stages.  I would look for Randy Orton to possibly be an option.  I still hold out hope for some Brock Lesnar and Cesaro interaction.

For me, that would be a fantastic way to get Cesaro built up if he’s beat down and gets that big babyface reaction that I think we all see coming for him.  I do think that Cesaro that type of moment away from being right on track to where he was going around this past year’s Wrestlemania.

It’s that unknown factor of what would you do with Brock Lesnar as champion that truly gets me excited.  Plus, I was one of those people stating that Lesnar needs to go out and win the title after breaking the streak of the Undertaker because where he does he go.  Now that prediction can become a reality.
