Bull Dempsey and Mojo Rawley vs. The Vaudevillains in a first-round match of the Tag Team #1 Contender’s Tournament
Dempsey was protected early in this match, as he dominated early, but tagged out to Moho, who lost control of the match.
Mojo was able to make a tag to Dempsey, and worked on Simon Gotch, until Mojo tagged in, which infuriated Dempsey. Mojo very quickly lost the match after that, when Gotch hit the rolling senton, and Aiden English hit the senton off the middle-rope for the win.
The Vaudevillains defeat Rawley and Dempsey via pinfall.
After the match, Dempsey took out all his frustrations and beat down on Mojo.
2.5 out of 5 stars – Decent match. Good job of advancing the story between Dempsey and Mojo. Hopefully The Vaudevillains go far in this tournament.
