PWG Battle of Los Angeles 2014: Night 2 Results

The second night of Pro Wrestling Guerilla’s Battle of Los Angles tournament took place on Saturday night. Night 2 marked the end of the first round, with the action all set to wrap up on Night 3. If you missed the results from Night 1, click here.

This is a huge night for PWG, as BOLA will have the first female competitor in its history, Candice LeRae. How did she do in her first BOLA match? Let’s check the results, courtesy of

  7. 2014 Battle of Los Angeles First Round Match

  8. The Young Bucks defeated Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian

Candice picked up the win against Rich Swann, and it will be interesting to see how they book her in the next round, or couple of rounds. It is important to remember that Candice was not originally in this tournament, and she was a replacement for Trent?.

The big news, however, is that we have another stunning exit, as Adam Cole goes out in the first round. Cole won BOLA two years ago, and it launched him to winning the PWG World Championship, a title he didn’t lose until this past May. I am stunned to see Cole lose this early, but I’m positive that we will see something fun out of him on Night 3, and moving forward.

The reviews from the first two nights have been fantastic, as you would expect. Hopefully, similar reports come out of Night 3.

We will have the results from Night 3 as they become available.

I should note that, in the Night 1 results, I said that Brian Cage was in the tournament. Cage was a last-second scratch, and was replaced by TJ Perkins. Perkins won his first round match against Bobby Fish on Night 1.
