This will be your Monday-Saturday hub for the latest news inside and outside the squared circle for Vince McMahon’s company as well as TNA sprinkled in (unless they get cancelled).

Here’s the wrestling information you need to know for September 23rd, 2014 version of The WWE Morning Paper.

News

  • Check out the complete WWE Network schedule for today.
  • Take a look at the information that Lucha Underground released to us yesterday regarding their show’s premiere.

"The match has begun. With production of the new action-packed series, “Lucha Underground,” underway in Los Angeles, El Rey Network and Emmy Award®-winning producer Mark Burnett’s One Three Media today announced new members of the character-driven, riveting, freestyle wrestling series. “Lucha Undergound” will kick off with a special two-hour episode on Wednesday, October 29th at 8:00 pm ET/PT."

"WWE announced that the October 10th episode of Friday Night SmackDown will be a special 15th anniversary episode. That show will be taped on October 7th from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA."

Rumors

  • It seems like Baron Corbin will be a major focus on WWE NXT.

"Baron Corbin, seen prominently squashing CJ Parker at the last Takeover live special and on last week’s NXT, is supposedly in line for a big push. He’s been working longer matches at house shows, and been let loose on social media to build his character there for a larger role on the WWE Network show."

"Rumors of WWE versus the audience continued at Night of Champions. This time, it was apparently pro-Cesaro signs that were confiscated. A report floating around says the the guy facing the hard camera side in an El Generico mask handed out “King of Wrestling” signs, and WWE officials took them from fans. They’re said to have responded to inquires about why folks couldn’t have the signs by saying “you don’t need to know.” Let the conspiracy theories about Cesaro continue."

Opinions

"Tonight featured the fallout from Night of Champions. While it wasn’t a very good show, it wasn’t the worst thing WWE has put out there either.A new champion was crowned, some, but not all questions were answered, and we had two future members of the WWE Hall of Fame in the main event."

  • We took a look at why Randy Orton is the perfect challenger for Brock Lesnar’s title.
