WWE Rumors: Potential December NXT Takeover Matches

While we’re not even a month past NXT Takeover: Fatal 4-Way, speculation on matches for the next live special on the WWE Network is already taking place. They only have one more set of TV tapings to do at Full Sail University before the show in December, which is hard to believe already.

Here’s what the next live special is expected to look like, according to Wrestling Inc.

Date: December 11, 2014

• Hideo Itami and Finn Balor vs. The Ascension
• Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks or Becky Lynch, possibly Bayley could be involved as well for the NXT Women’s Championship
• The Vaudevillains vs. The Lucha Dragons for the NXT Team Team Championship
• Adrian Neville vs. Sami Zayn for the NXT Championship

There’s always the possibility that this could change, but with the way the shows have been that we have seen on the WWE Network so far, most of these seem very likely. Neville vs. Zayn has been speculated since Takeover: Fatal 4-Way ended as well as Itami facing off against The Ascension (with a mystery partner that we technically don’t know about).

Becky Lynch possibly being involved for the Women’s Championship is interesting. All we have seen so far is Charlotte, Bayley, and antics from Sasha Banks here and there. She could put her name into the mix soon in one of the next episodes of NXT.

Aiden English and Simon Gotch of the Vaudevillains picking up a win over Tye Dillinger and Jason Jordan this past Thursday could begin a long string of victories for the duo. They seem to be developing a following as well, so this could lead to them getting their shot in December.
