Are there any interesting questions Chris Jericho should ask John Cena on tonight’s podcast?

More from John Cena

Tonight after WWE Raw, Chris Jericho will have his highly popular “Talk is Jericho” podcast on the WWE Network (for only $9.99) where his guest will be the WWE United States Champion John Cena.  Now if you’ve never listened to Jericho’s podcast than you will be in for a treat.  Like all things Jericho, it will be entertaining and truthful.

If you’ve seen the previous podcast’s with Stone Cold Steve Austin when he had Vince McMahon and Triple H on his show – you know there was a lot of interesting questions asked and some just as interesting answers in the show.  If you think Jericho will take it easy on Cena and that he won’t ask the same kind of real questions as Stone Cold does – then you’re wrong.

Jericho doesn’t hold back with anything he ever does – from wrestling, acting, singing in his band, writing, and even his Dancing with the Star’s performance – so you can expect that this podcast will be something you do not want to miss.

And who better to have on this podcast (other than obviously Vince McMahon and Triple H) then the one and only John Cena.  Okay, well maybe Paul Heyman or the Undertaker for me personally but Cena is an excellent choice.

Like him or hate him, you cannot deny that Cena garners as much attention as anyone in wrestling today.  For whatever reason you or anyone else may have – he does cause an emotion to come out when he is either on television or brought up in a conversation if you’re a wrestling fan.

So let’s play a game of “what if” – What if you were Chris Jericho (and that would be totally froot if I was – oh and if you don’t know what froot is than you really need to go and read Jericho’s books) and you had an hour to ask John Cena anything you wanted – What would you ask?

Now personally, there are a few things I’m curious about and maybe it is just me that is curious about these things but this is what I would ask:

  1. Why didn’t the WWE have you headlining WrestleMania against Brock Lesnar for a rematch for the title?
  2. Was Roman Reigns the right man to headline the biggest show of the year against Lesnar?
  3. How much longer will you be in the WWE wrestling full-time?
  4. Who in your opinion was the bigger draw – Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, Ric Flair, or The Rock?
  5. If you were in charge of the WWE right now – who would you build the future of the company around?
  6. Do you want to turn heel and if you did how much of your real feelings would you let out in your character?
  7. Who would you want your last match to be against or pass the torch to?
  8. What did you know about the CM Punk situation when he left?
  9. Is there anyone you would never work with or have you ever said “no” to with putting over?
  10. Do you want to break Ric Flair’s World Title record?

My reason for some of these is curiosity – other’s are to see how his comments would differ from what has been reported from other wrestling news pages.

The first one of why he wasn’t going against Brock at WrestleMania this year is one that I question.  I know you have to start moving forward with new talent and you need to start building for the future – but your present is still very much there.

Cena is referred to as this generation Hulk Hogan – yet Hogan never went back-to-back WrestleMania’s to make newer and younger wrestlers bigger.  Not that is a bad thing but there are other guys who can do that who aren’t your biggest star.

Again these are what I’d like to ask Cena – I’m sure a couple of those will be asked in one way or another and I know Jericho will add his perspective into every answer as well – which will also be just as great to hear.

So if you where hosting the show – What would you ask John Cena?
