WWE Night of Champions 2015: Updated Match Card and Speculation

Check out what to expect on the WWE Night of Champions match card and what has been confirmed.

With WWE SummerSlam now over, the WWE Night of Champions pay-per-view is on the horizon. The show takes place on Sunday, September 20.

We already had a match confirmed on last night’s episode of Raw. It will feature a wrestling legend and a new star in WWE. Who is it? Will they be battling for a title?

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match
Seth Rollins (c) vs. Sting

  • Confirmed.
  • This will be an incredible bout. Sting will be wrestling for only the second time on WWE TV and against the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, possibly for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. This will be a historic match to see.

WWE Tag Team Championship Match
New Day (c) vs. Dudley Boyz vs. Prime Time Players

  • Speculation.
  • How about that return of The Dudley Boyz last night on Raw? They have made a huge impact with just one appearance on Raw and should contend for the WWE Tag Team Championship immediately.

WWE Divas Championship Match
Nikki Bella (c) vs. Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks

  • Speculation.
  • Nikki has to defend the Divas Championship at some point, right? Night of Champions makes the Superstars and Divas defend their belts, so she will be putting hers on the line. It could be anyone from PCB or BAD included in this match but Charlotte and Sasha may be the most likely.

WWE United States Championship Match
Seth Rollins (c) vs. John Cena

  • Speculation.
  • It’s very hard to project this one. It really could go in any direction and Rollins holding the title going into Night of Champions is no guarantee. Cena contending for the belt is also not a sure thing.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
Ryback (c) vs. Kevin Owens

  • Speculation.
  • Coming off a big win over Cesaro, Owens should be moving on. Ryback will be doing something else as well after beating Big Show and The Miz at SummerSlam. This makes for a perfect match for Night of Champions to put these two big guys together to battle for the IC Title.

Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Mystery Partner vs. Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Braun Stowman

  • Speculation.
  • Now that Stowman debuted as a new member of The Wyatt Family, Ambrose and Reigns need a third man. Who could join them to take on the heel group at Night of Champions?
