If Randy Orton is actually joining The Wyatt Family, there is plenty of reason for this to be the correct call.

Randy Orton had feuded with Bray Wyatt since the days after WWE SummerSlam. Both were coming off an unsuccessful period, as Orton lost via TKO to Brock Lesnar and Wyatt got left off yet another big pay-per-view’s match card. It left them lacking any momentum, so WWE paired them together for a feud to go into the fall.

The Viper and The Eater of Worlds had a planned match for Backlash, but the former not being cleared from a concussion postponed this. They ended up wrestling at No Mercy, which saw Luke Harper return to assist Wyatt in winning. This indicated that the feud would continue, except it may have been for just a few weeks.

On the October 25 episode of SmackDown, Orton seemingly showed up to help Kane fend off Harper and Wyatt. However, after a brief standoff with the heels, he turned to The Big Red Monster and RKO’d him. This not only allowed Wyatt to get the pinfall win, but it signaled that this could be the start of something bigger.

After the match, Orton got interviewed backstage about what he did.

This would seem to mean he’s going to join The Wyatt Family. It could also be another mind game for this feud as well.

However, Orton becoming a Wyatt would be the Blue Brand’s latest intriguing twist to programming. There are potential avenues to go down with these two working together, so here’s why Randy Orton aligning with The Wyatt Family should happen.
