WWE Rumors: Seth Rollins ‘Good for WrestleMania’ Match vs. Triple H

Despite what WWE said on Raw, Seth Rollins may be good to go for WrestleMania 33.

On Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, an injury update would be provided on Seth Rollins after he did damage to his knee the previous week. It came during the final segment when Samoa Joe debuted and attacked him. Rollins would be deemed to have a torn MCL with his WrestleMania 33 status being “in serious doubt”. This wasn’t new from what had previously been reported.

Well, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio, despite what WWE said, Rollins vs. Triple H is still set for WrestleMania. They feel Rollins will be good to go for WrestleMania, so the plan is for this match to still be part of the show.

"Seth is considered good for WrestleMania. So Triple H vs. Seth is on, and that’s what they’re working towards. Maybe that’s why they didn’t tip their hand, but they are going with the idea that that match is still on and he will be ready for WrestleMania."

If so, this is the first piece of good news since Rollins went down with this injury. We’ll see now if WWE completely holds him out of the ring until WrestleMania 33, something that may not be the worst thing to do, in order to protect him. That means anything done for this feud on WWE TV will likely have to be through Triple H, who didn’t appear on Raw on Monday night.

If we’re getting the two-time WWE World Heavyweight champion back soon, maybe he’ll appear sometime in March in a non-physical role. He could confront Triple H, set this match up, and go from there.
