Long-time WWE Superstar Rosa Mendes announced her retirement from the company on Monday.

Rosa Mendes played a steady part in the WWE Women’s Division for about 10 years. This saw her manage and even compete in the ring on a handful of occasions. In recent years, she’s mostly been known for her stint on “Total Divas”, the E! reality show.

However, Mendes’ time with WWE has ended, as she announced her retirement on Instagram on Monday. It comes exactly one year to the day after giving birth to her daughter, Jordan.

"For the last 10 years, WWE was my life, my world and my family. I was Rosa Mendes. Now I am Milena Roucka, Jordan’s mother, a soon to be wife and a hard working entrepreneur. For years I have been fortunate to put smiles on people’s faces worldwide, performed for hundreds of thousands of fans and lived off of the adrenaline from the WWE audience.”"

Mendes had been off WWE TV since April 2015, when she became pregnant, so she hasn’t had an on-screen role with the company since then. Before that, Mendes joined WWE in 2006 as part of the Diva Search. Despite being eliminated before the final round, she still would be signed to a developmental deal.

In 2008, Mendes would move to the main roster and stay on for the majority of the next seven years. This includes managing former WWE Tag Team Champions, Primo and Epico from 2011-2013.
