On WWE Raw, Seth Rollins revealed his status for WrestleMania 33.

A Seth Rollins interview had been teased for Monday’s episode of WWE Raw just weeks after he suffered a real knee injury during an attack from Samoa Joe. It kept him off TV for multiple episodes, until the February 27 show in Green Bay, WI.

Rollins came down to the ring during the 10:00 p.m. ET hour and said his MCL tear was “worse than originally diagnosed”. Corey Graves asks if the Architect will be at WrestleMania 33. He hesitates and says “it’s not looking great” and “it doesn’t look like the doctors will clear him in time for WrestleMania”.

Triple H then entered the venue and says he never thought we’d see Rollins again. Samoa Joe then appears at ringside to provide some extra protection. The Game then tells Rollins he won’t be at WrestleMania and how he used him along the way.

To finish it off, Triple H warns Rollins to not come to WrestleMania because it would be the “last thing he does in a WWE ring”. However, Rollins fires back that he will be at the Show of Shows.

It looks like Rollins will show up at WrestleMania, or WWE at least believes he’ll be good enough to appear. Keeping his official status in doubt, however, makes for great drama as we approach the one-month mark until the event in Orlando, FL.

The expected Triple H vs. Rollins match is one years in the making, ever since the Shield broke up in June 2014. It pits mentor vs. protegé on the Grandest Stage of Them All and should be a marquee bout on the match card.
