The Miz and Maryse Dress as John Cena and Nikki Bella, Continuing to Be the Greatest (Video)
On WWE SmackDown Live, the Miz and Maryse showed up in their Total Bellas Bull**** outfits to mock John Cena and Nikki Bella.
On the Road to WrestleMania 33, the Miz and Maryse cosplayed John Cena and Nikki Bella in segments mocking their Total Bellas show. They renamed it, Total Bellas Bull**** and played to Cena and Bella’s relationship, and how they hadn’t been married yet. Of course, the Face That Runs the Place proposed at WrestleMania 33.
The WWE Power Couple did not appear on Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live, but Miz and Maryse did. Instead of coming out in their traditional ring gear, they dressed up as Cena and Bella again, using the same attire as the Total Bellas Bull****. They mocked them again, garnering a red-hot response from the Amway Center crowd.
To cap it off, Miz and Maryse said Cena and Bella are “leaving WWE.” Then, they went to leave the ring.
What followed that was the main roster debut of Shinsuke Nakamura. He made his grand entrance and caused the A-Lister to leave the ring. They didn’t interact, but there will probably be more to come in the weeks to come.
This was probably the end of Miz and Maryse mocking Cena and Bella. If so, then the work they did with this WrestleMania 33 feud is something to remember. The in-ring promos can’t be forgotten either, which only furthered the terrific run the former Tough Enough star has had since the brand split in July 2016.
Now, we’ll see what the Miz and Maryse do to get inside the head of Nakamura. If it’s anything close to what was done on the Road to WrestleMania 33, then we should be in for something great.
