Braun Strowman, Big Show Break the Ring on WWE Raw (Video)

In the main event of Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, Braun Strowman and Big Show made the ring crash and burn.

Earlier in 2017, Braun Strowman and Big Show went head-to-head for the first time. They put on an entertaining match, probably something better than you would expect. Strowman won, but not after a hard-fought and surprisingly athletic contest.

Well, on Monday’s episode of Raw, Show and Strowman had their rematch. It came after the Monster Among Men was attacking other WWE Superstars, until the future Hall of Famer interfered and slammed him into the wall. This then created their match for later on Raw.

Over 10 years ago, Show famously broke the ring in a match with Brock Lesnar on the old SmackDown. It made for one of the most shocking moments in WWE history, which had a Part Two on Monday’s Raw.

Strowman and Show teased a top turnbuckle spot multiple times, but nothing came of it. However, on the final attempt, Strowman met his opponent at the turnbuckle and hit a monstrous superplex, breaking the ring, as it all fell to pieces.

Afterward, Strowman somehow got on his feet. He celebrated with his fists in the air and a loud roar to close the show.

What a moment from Raw, capping off what had been an inconsistent episode. It was eye-popping, something that felt like it would happen at some point, but only after plenty of build up. This made the actual ring collapse worth it, and something that will get everyone talking.

Strowman and Show put on a match to remember. They may stay away from each other for a while, especially after something as grand as this, but we can’t wait for their third encounter.
