Following his victory over Alberto Del Rio at Saturday night’s RAW live event in El Paso, Texas, CM Punk paid tribute to the late Eddie Guerrero. Punk spoke on the microphone and said that when he thinks of El Paso, he thinks of Eddie Guerrero. He feels that even though Eddie is gone, if the people who were touched by him spread his legacy, then he will continue to live. He then blew a kiss to the arena ceiling in memory of Guerrero. – As noted in our house show results from Albuquerque, NM earlier, The Miz and R-Truth made an appearance at the show. Both men were advertised to appear, but due to the storyline started on Monday, Justin Roberts announced at the beginning that they would not be there because of the firing. Instead it ended up being Otunga and McGuillicutty who fought Air Boom. After the match, The Miz and R Truth showed up and attacked Air Boom. – Madison Rayne defeated DCW women’s champion Kacee Carlisle at a DCW pro wrestling event last night. Earlier in the night, TNA Knockout Traci Brooks defeated Trixie Lynn to become the new #1 Contender to the Women’s Championship. Dolph Ziggler has stated on Twitter that he suffered a “hairline mandibular fracture” of his jaw from Hugh Jackman’s punch on RAW. Ziggler said he will be wearing a mouth guard while it heels and will not miss any matches.
