Raw Review: Triple H Challenges Daniel Bryan for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

Justin Roberts introduced “The NEWWWWW WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Bryan!”

Before Bryan could even speak, the crowd was chanting “Daniel Bryan” and Bryan couldn’t speak. Bryan came out and joked about how hard it is to do the “Yes” chant with both belts in his hands, the crowd followed up with a “Yes” chant and a “You Deserve It” chant. Triple H then came out and told Bryan he wasn’t going to get in the ring because he was afraid what he might do with Bryan. Bryan then cut Triple H off, got right in his face and started another “Yes” chant. Triple H then announced that he was going to put an end to it all when he beat Bryan for the title in tonight’s main event. This was an excellent segment. It continued the celebration of Bryan’s win, but also puts the reign in doubt early, which is necessary.

Triple H and Stephanie are excited for Triple H to get in the ring with Daniel Bryan and take the title away from him. Batista comes in and asks why Triple H is getting a title shot, when Bryan wouldn’t have even been in the title match if Triple H had beat him in WrestleMania’s opening match. Orton then enters demanding that he get his title rematch tonight. Stephanie says they have to wait for their title shot, while they take on The Usos for the WWE Tag Team Championship tonight. Triple H then reminds them that nobody can stop them, when they are on the same page. Seeing these guys get on the same page again would be amazing, especially if Bryan was able to overcome them and keep the title.
