Lana talked about Vladimir Putin being a hero for Russia, and the entire world. She said that Adrian Neville is a star, but he will fade like all the others. She referred to Rusev as “the greatest hero”.

Don’t get angry, people. This was filmed weeks ago, before the events of last week.

Adrian Neville vs. Rusev

Rusev had control early, and beat down on Neville.

Neville eventually gained control and worked Rusev over, attacking his knee. It’s a simple thing, but good on Neville for working on the big man’s legs, and good job by the announcers pointing it out.

Tyler Breeze came out and tried to attack Neville when the referee wasn’t looking, but Neville knocked him off the apron. Rusev was able to use this distraction from Breeze.

Neville countered Rusev with a kick to the head, and he had him set up for the Red Arrow, but Breeze knocked him off the top-rope to cause the DQ.

Neville defeats Rusev via DQ.

After the match, Rusev hit a superkick on Neville, then made Neville tap unreasonably quickly to The Accolade. Rusev stood tall over Neville, as Breeze looked on from the ramp.

2.75 out of 5 stars – It’s the good and the bad with Rusev. He sells very well, especially for smaller opponents. However, this was very short for a main event, and I’m still not sure he can hang in a longer match.
