Dean Ambrose backstage
Ambrose mocked Seth Rollins for tagging with his “chaperone” Kane in their Handicap Match with Ambrose. He said that The Authority is putting obstacles between him and “their precious investment”. Ambrose said Kane is a demon, but he has plenty of demons and knows how to handle them. Ambrose said when he gets to Rollins that no demon will be able to pull him off. He then said he hopes Kane brought two masks, because Rollins will need one when Ambrose is done with him.
I’m just going to say it, Pipebomb aside, Ambrose is better than CM Punk.
Kane and Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose
Kane started the match with Ambrose, as Rollins wanted nothing to do with it. Kane tagged into Rollins when Rollins was ready.
Rollins worked on Ambrose for a while, but tagged out once Ambrose got in the slightest bit of offense, allowing Kane to regain control of the match.
Kane and Rollins worked together on Ambrose, but eventually Ambrose started to comeback. Kane and Rollins started to thwart that comeback, but Ambrose hit Kane with a chair.
Kane and Rollins defeat Ambrose via DQ.
After the match, Kane went for a chokeslam, but Ambrose countered with a DQ on the chair, as Rollins escaped. With Rollins watching from the stage, Ambrose continued his chair attack on Kane.
3.5 out of 5 stars – Fun match. There is a lot of electricity when Ambrose and Rollins are in the same ring, or on the same screen.
Chris Jericho w/ Renee Young
Renee asked Y2J about the recent attacks from The Wyatt Family. Y2J said that Battleground was one of the best nights of his career. He also said that he can’t overcome the 3-on-1 attacks, and talked about the importance of beating Erick Rowan tonight so that Rowan will be banned from ringside at SummerSlam. He said that after SummerSlam, The Wyatt Family will “never, ever be the same again”.
