Big Show w/ Renee Young
Show opened by saying that he would happily join Team Cena if he was asked.
Show quickly turned his attention to Mark Henry. He said that he felt personally betrayed by Henry.
He went “vintage Big Show,” as he said that he really wanted his friend back, then adding that he also wants to knock his head off.
This was an okay promo. The thing about Show’s promos are that, even if they’re good, he always ruins them at the end.
Big Show vs. Mark Henry
This was a brawl from the start.
When Show got Henry to the ground, he started repeatedly dropping elbows into Henry’s back.
Henry got control of this one, after Show went to the top, and Henry brought him all the way down. Henry’s offense led to him hitting a World’s Strongest Slam, which Show kicked out of for some reason.
The match that went to the outside, with Henry eventually being DQ’d for using the steps.
Show defeats Henry via pinfall.
After the match, Henry continued the assault. Henry ended it with a World’s Strongest Slam on the steps.
1 out of 5 stars – Unlike Ryback/Titus, this was not a good big man match, and it went too long.
The Authority backstage
The Authority were watching the previous match backstage, and they sent Kane to go gauge Mark Henry’s interest in joining their team.
Stephanie McMahon talked about what their team could be if they added Henry, but noted that Orton’s participation was no guarantee.
Triple H did his best to assure her that Orton and Rollins would be fine once they got the chance to beat each other up, but she didn’t seem convinced.
