3) Randy Orton

Randy Orton’s character turn only took place last week, but it was certainly one of the more memorable ones of the year.

For about a month, tension was building between Orton and fellow Authority member Seth Rollins. At first, they looked to one-up each other with finishing moves. After continuing to exchange words over the next few shows, Rollins would take out Orton with a Curb Stomp at the go-home Raw before the Hell in a Cell PPV. While their situation wasn’t really addressed at HIAC, Orton looked for revenge on his stablemate.

Eventually, Triple H got fed up with the tension between Orton and Rollins, so he decided to put them in a match. The former architect of The Shield would end up scoring a pinfall victory that surprised RKO.

Following the match, it seemed like Orton had gained some respect for Rollins. He shook his hand and other Authority member’s hands, so it looked like all was well. Once he got to Rollins, he shook his hand, but then RKO’d him. This sent Triple H, Kane, and Stephanie McMahon into a panic. He attacked Kane and even attacked The Game. The crowd went wild for this!

Eventually, the numbers game caught up to Orton. He would end up being Curb Stomped onto the announcer’s table by Rollins and onto the steel steps. Orton’s bloodied face (Unintentionally done) made fans feel terrible for him, which made his babyface turn look that much better. With him out of action now due

to filming

to the injury, it will only make his return look that much better and hopefully set up a WrestleMania 31 match between these two foes. Rollins will likely go over, but Orton won’t look too bad, either.

The next one on this list actually includes Rollins.
